The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on April 30, 2026, issued the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Business Plan) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2026, further to amend the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Business Plan) Regulations, 2023.
The following has been stated:
• These Regulations shall be applicable from June 01, 2026 (corresponding to the Power Procurement by the DISCOMs from April 01, 2026 onwards).
• Regulation 30 of the Principal Regulations shall be amended. It states that Regulation 30 shall be deleted and Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS) shall be governed by Regulation-134 of DERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
